PRIVACY POLICY

The personal data in custody of SOTIUGAL SAS, in its capacity as responsible and/or in charge as the case may be, will be treated in compliance with the principles and regulations provided by the Colombian law, the existing national legislations on the matter are applicable in relation with the related companies located outside of Colombia as to the good practices regarding the personal data protection regime. 

 

The personal data in possession of SOTIUGAL SAS will be processed according to the following general purposes: 

 

  • For the fulfillment of the obligations and/or commitments derived from the existing relationships, contractual or not, with its clients & subscribers. 
  • For the fulfillment of the legal obligations that involve personal data of its stakeholders.
  • For commercial management and relations with its clients & subscribers. 
  • For prospective analysis on trends and preferences of its clients & subscribers in relation to its goods and/or services. 
  • To know prospectively the needs of its clients & subscribers in order to innovate and satisfy them.
  • To communicate to their clients’ & subscribers’ information about their goods, services, publications, events and promotions and/or advertisements associated with their activity, whether they are goods and/or services. 
  • To deploy corporate social responsibility and activities towards its clients & subscribers.
  • In each business process, in accordance with the processes which will be carried out with the personal data collected, the respective privacy notice will inform in advance the particular purposes of such processes, without prejudice to the processes authorized by law.

     

     

    Any person in their capacity as the owner or legitimately authorized individual, in relation to the processing of the personal data has the right to:

     

  • Act upon their right of habeas data consisting of knowing, updating, rectifying, opposing and cancelling the information collected, in those cases where appropriate.   • Execute the actions which are recognized by the law regarding the protection of personal data and habeas data.

    THE PROCESS OF HABEAS DATA

     

    1. To exercise the habeas data, the owner of the personal data or who shows a legitimate inters as indicated in the current regulations, may do so by contacting SOTIUGAL SAS via email at info@sotiufit.com or by sending a direct communication to the following physical address: Carrera 46B # 46 sur 12 in the city of Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia. 
    2. Whoever exercises the habeas data must provide the requested contact information with precision for the purpose of processing and attending to the request and displaying the charges for exercising their rights.  
    3. Upon receipt of the request to exercise Habeas Data, SOTIUGAL SAS will respond within the legal term of fifteen (15) business days, which may be extended for eight (8) additional days, prior communication to whoever has exercised this right.

     

     

    The processing of personal data carried out by SOTIUGAL SAS in accordance with this policy, will be based on the standard, procedures and instructions adopted by this institution for compliance with the legislation applicable to the protection of personal information.
